Do your children have this phase of not just asking asking asking for things but moaning! Juice, snack, shoes on. Toy... Anything. They won't talk nicely they just whine??? Recently happening. They're usually delightful!!! (22mo is teething bad so probably why for her?)

If they've just started, draw the line - refuse to give them the required item until they ask nicely in their own (non whiney) voice. Nip it in the bud.

Are you feeling a bit low? Are they picking up on your mood? Or are they tired/getting into bad habits?

Nicely rephrase things
Whiny child one 'I wwwwwant crisps'
You 'please can I have crisps mummy' said in a sweet tone
And after 'thank you'

I have my down days. But even the days I'm great I've noticed it. Dd2 is mega teething. But when you've had that noise almost all situations of the day - it's wearing. And I end up snapping and using an angry tone. I try to re-phrase things but when I keep trying without success it's tiring.

They cling to me on days were at home. Only lately they just seem angry, Whingy and want for everything. All the time.

I end up with no patience and shout. Then cry. Mum guilt. All the time
