Cot chewing

Help! My 10mo DS is madly chewing his cot and causing quite a lot of damage...he's like a little beaver! I've bought plastic cot rail protectors but they don't fit the cot - it's Boori Urbane cot and the rails are a few mms too wide. Does anyone know of any solutions?! The only cloth protectors I've found are from the States, delivered with enormous postage costs.

I'm sure your cot will be fine. He's probably teething.

DD ate her way through the top bar of her cot, we never did find a solution. No help I'm afraid, but you are not alone!

Hahaha, thanks ASFR....good to hear we're not the only ones with a little chewing monster. I really should have bought a cheaper cot!

Sounds like teething!! Can you make some padded protectors for the bar (or enlist a helpful crafty friend/relative)

I think mamas and papas do them but quite expensive

Aha! Thank you Wheresthelight! Exactly what I was looking for. I'd rather save the cot and fork out for them tbh...I didn't mention that it's a painted cot and so not only is DS's face covered in tiny flecks of paint when he gets up, but the cot looks such a mess. That'll be another job at some point then, sanding and repainting the cot...will I ever get around to it I wonder?!
