Anyone else's baby a screamer?

My DD (21 weeks) loves to scream! Well actually I would say when she does this it tends to end badly, ie with her either threatening to cry or just seemin really agitated.

Some people say she is "finding her voice" but I'm not so sure. Could it be as simple as her just liking to make a shrill noise? If so then why does it end badly???

My DD went through a phase of this too. It was so piercing! I tried not to react to it and she doesn't really do it now. It has been replaced with "bababababa mamamamamama"

My lo went through a phase of squealing! It was such an ear pearling sound. It was thankfully quickly replaced by low throaty grrrrrrrrrrr sound (like coffee percolating). Now she makes the cutest babababa rararara and even from today mamamama sounds. Your LO will get there, hopefully she will be an early talker
