Ok am I that Seriously sleep deprived that I think my 5 1/2 week old baby is laughing in his sleep??

He does like a Windy (real?!) smile accompanied by a body shake laugh. For real?!

Dr google has shown a study in Japan where they have recorded newborns laughing from 17 days old.. An April fool?

Ds1 used to make a noise like a goat.

If you used your imagination, it was a bit like a laugh.

We just called him goat boy.

Newborns do some very strange things.

My four week old makes high pitched squeaks in her sleep, and mews like a kitten at times too. very disturbing when it wakes you at 3am!

When LittleElf was a few weeks old she let out a proper "ha ha ha". The health visitor was in bits.

The wee noises they make are adorable.

Ds1 laughed in his sleep just once at about 5 weeks. It was a real chuckle.

If my gran hadn't been there and heard it too I'd have thought I was hearing things I think.
