8 month old shouting - all day!

Just that really. The past 3 or 4 days he's started this nerve shredding yelling. Not always unhappy but sometimes seems frustrated. Up to this point he's been a very content wee guy. Will easily play on his own for 30 mins before I need to change the activity or sit and play with him for a bit. Is this just a phase? It's exhausting!

Yes, just a phase!! Best thing to do? Take him out for a long walk in the pram, it will make the yelling more tolerable! Don't think it lasts long :-)

Phew, it's a blessed relief when he sleeps only time when he's not yelling/grumbling

A lot of the little ones I've looked after go through this phase.

That sudden high-pitched shriek that makes your ears ring - I can remember stopping the car to swap the side that a rear car seat was in so that the noise didn't directly hit me!

Whilst it is a nightmare it doesn't last long.
