Do un-kissy toddlers ever become kissier?

I have a 3 and half year old DS who is not at all kissy. He likes being held and loves rough and tumble, but most affection, especially kissing, is on his terms.

Should I expect this to continue or do kids get easier with this? I am so affectionate and we are really affectionate in front of him.

My 5yo wasn't kissy until about 2.5. We used to trick her by saying "Where's your nose, where's your eyes, where's your kisses" Grin then suddenly when her little sister was born she became a kisser.

Don't push it, if he wants to let him if he doesn't don't make him - even tricking my daughter some days she'd just point to her lips, we let her show us we didn't pinch kisses. He'll get there in his own time.
