baby throwing head back

My 11 month old keeps forcefully throwing his head back when he gets upset. I'm worried he'll really hurt himself (or me) one of these days. Hoping he'll grow out of it soon. Anyone got any words of wisdom?

Should be a "please" at the end of that message!

My little one use to so that but she grew out of it pretty quickly.... Hoping the same happens for u :)

In the meantime try using a cushion maybe thought mine never kept it in place.

Mine does it. Has hit me lots of times with head(OH says i get in range)
I think maybe she is stopping a bit now 20m. It is tiredness, no, and teething related

Thank you for replying. I figured I probably just have to wait it out. Hoping some sense of self preservation kicks in soon!
