Is it time to potty train?

I was planning on leaving this till DS (2.7) was 3 as I've heard that's much easier.

However last week, he has done a wee on his potty before bed each night. Then last two days he's asked to do a poo on his potty on a couple of occasions and (2 out of 3 times) managed (after sitting there for ages.

Should I be seizing this opportunity? Any other advice?

Just let it happen, he seems to be doing it himself.

No interest today so far so will play by eat and see if he goes back to it.
