Toilet-trained four-year-old wetting

My son is 4 and has been toilet trained during the day for 2 years now but twice in the last two days he has said, 'I'm weeing' and made a puddle on the floor. He doesn't have any behavioural problems and doesn't seem to have any symptoms of a UTI, could this be a developmental thing? Thanks in advance for any advice.

I find it doesn't have to be a UTI - for my DS, any sort of illness seems to have the knock-on effect of less bladder control than normal. I'd like to say it was a thing of the past, but actually, he has a cold at the mo. and wet himself yesterday (he's just turned 6). I'd go for not making a fuss, treating it very matter of factly, and seeing how long it goes on for. A few episodes over a couple of days is nothing to worry about, but maybe re-think if it doesn't clear up in a week.
