Newborn farts a lot

My baby is 17 days old and is on cow and gate formula... She is farting loads this past few days, is this normal???

Her poo is normal.

sounds ok. Mine used to hardly burp but farted it all out instead

DS was the same, extremely loud trumps too out in public! Grin

It calmed down a lot by about 3 months for my DS

Yeah.. My baby farts like a fully grown man. It was very surprising, but totally normal!

totally the same as SOurSweets! Both our babies are extreme farters! Seems to happen most when I have had trouble winding them, so I guess it all goes South instead!

Well she is still farting Blush but she isn't annoyed with it so I shall just leave her be!!

My daughter was incredibly windy. She's now almost 15 months and just the other day let rip a massive fart and turned to look at me with a great big grin on her face.

She could outfart all of the babies in the neonatal ward. I felt strangely proud.
