Anyone else had this as ds1 and ds2 never did it. He takes it off all the time so is doing his wees adn poos everywhere

Today I lookedout in the garden and there he was with his trousers and nappy round his ankles and when I got out there a great big poo in them - eeek!

What can I do?!?! He's only 23 months - not ready for the potty yet surely?!

Ds 19m is doing this atm with his nappy. I put him down for afternoon nap (didnt put his shorts back on as it was so hot) and he wasn't settling - went up a while later to find a log in his cot a nappy which looked like it had been pulled down and a big smiley face to greet me!

get the potty out!! - he may well be - if hes not you don't have to push it.

My friend dealt with this problem with gaffer tape - not the solution recommended by the child-care gurus, but it worked! She wrapped it twice round the top of his nappy so that he couldn't get at the tapes, and tight enough so that he couldn't pull his nappy down without being so tight that it was uncomfortable.

Haha -gaffer tape!

Was thinking bout getting him some braces! hehe!

It's a nightmare though - I can hear him going 'wee wee, all wet' adn I just know it's all over teh carpet!
