He goes up to bed usual time but in the past he used to want the door open until he was asleep. He would also read for a while before lights out.

Now the lights are out straightaway and the door is shut!

I can probably guess what he's up to but is there anything I need to do ?

A box of man size and a waste bin. And ALWAYS knock.

Remove his phone/tablet/laptop to avoid porn addiction.

Suggest he washes his own sheets.

Oh I'm already up to speed then (first time for everything!)

No electronic gadgets in bedrooms here and both my boys have been stripping their own sheets on a weekly basis since they were 5/6 in preparation for this moment Grin

Don't jump to conclusions! He may be reading/ not worried about being on his own/ needing company so much. I don't allow kindles etc upstairs.
