My little one was diagnosed with scarlet fever Friday evening.
The doctor at a&e said 4 doses a day, either 6 hours apart or if only doing it in the day 4 hours apart.
Decided to do it through the night and keep it at 6 hourly in case she deteriorated over night however the last few nights as she's so much better in herself is sleeping through again so when I wake her to give it to her she's very upset and has spat it out a few times needing me to do it all over again.
Also was given a weeks prescription which should have brought me up to Friday morning but is ont going to bring me up until tomorrow probably because of the way I've been giving it so the next lot is going to be the same that I get from the doctor tomorrow isn't it?
Not sure if they will be happy to give me another prescription once the next lot finishes as it will fall short of the 14 days.
Would it matter as now on day 5 to change it over to every 5 hours instead just so I don't have to wake her in the middle of the night?
