Hi,

Could anyone reccomend a book about how to have a peaceful life when in the situation of being a stepdaughter?or what to do in order to facilitate this type of relationship?
I looked on amazon but can't seem to be able to find one.
I'm a bit desperate...
Help please!!!

Have not heard of anything but isn't it like other personal relationships? You don't give ages of SD or what the problem is, jealousy. resentment? try a book on personal relationships.be honest with compassion and keep smiling. (cry in private)

Hi,
The book is for my mum and her stepdaughter who is 18,they are having a tough time and my stepsister asked me for advise,I just don't know really how to help, what to tell her,so I thought a book will help...I want their relationship to work.
I think the problem is my mum as she doesn't know really how to behave with my stepsister, she has a boyfriend and my mum is a bit difficult...

Stepmonster by Wednesday Martin. It's a book for the step mum but it might give the SD some understanding and maybe someone could suggest the SM read it too. I haven't read it yet but, as a SM, I intend to order it very soon. Just to understand my own feelings will help me immensely. I want to be loving and caring but I'm coming across a cow at the moment and I want to change :(
