Coping with 2... Concerned about older sister over eating :(

Hi- my dd is 4 weeks old. In the past week her older sister -who's 3 - is constantly asking for snacks & treats between meals. I admit to using the occasional bribe to get her dressed/in the pram/ out of the house.. I honestly can't think of another way to it; I refuse to physically grapple with her.
She wants snacks right through the day, whenever she is at home. She still eats her meals.
It's draining thinking up ways to distract her..
Is she overrating due to the stress of the newborn; can a 3yo comfort eat??

Could be boredom, growth spurt or she's actually thirsty.

Make sure she has plenty of water, make sure her diet isn't too carb heavy eg less of the fruit for snacks and get plenty of proteins and fats in there too. Eg full fat yoghurt (not the kiddies stuff like petit filous), cheese is a good snack, hummus, avocado etc etc.

My ds snacks a lot and would eat all day when bored. Are you getting out much? Does she eat more when at home?

I doubt she comfort eats unless you've given the message that food makes you happy? (eg here's some choc to cheer you up)!

Thanks Great.
Most of her snacks are fruit; in an attempt to be healthy. She usually has a water bottle to hand but I do give choc (kinder etc) as a 'reward'. Trying to give the message that it's a treat & not an everyday thing. Will up the protein. She loves yoghurt & cheese.
We get out everyday but not as much as is like; roll on summer.
