Playing with toys

This past week my 3yo and 20mo behaviour has changed . They usually play together nicely, or separately. But recently it's hair pulling, fighting over toys. Or not playing with toys at all and just whinging that there's nothing. Or doing anything but play. 3yo usually doesn't role play with Barbie's or something, but nothing recently? They both just climbed into the window and put spit all over it? They usually play nicely with a kitchen, puzzles or just any of their things. But recently - no! They will just get it all out and not play with it. Or be asking me what I can do for them following me around constantly or going in draws or cupboards or pulling stuff out they've never noticed. And 3yo will then copy 20mo doing stuff too.

I love to play with them, but they need to know I can't entertain 24/7. And they can play together or alone (usually this isn't a problem)

Dc3 is due in two days too so maybe they're sensing change.

Do they need some physical action perhaps? A walk in the park in their wellies?

We always do that ! Smile

Well it must just be what you say then...they sense a new interloper on the way! Smile
