Teething..

Goodness me...I had forgotten what hell teething is for poor babies and parents alike. DS has his first two bottom teeth ready to pop through at any minute, you can see them under the gum. DD was very sensitive teething too... Poor DS has been chewing for England, drooling, unsettled, cannot stay still and doing explosive teething poos. I am using baby nurofen/calpol/teethers etc can't wait for the teeth to cut so he is out of his misery for a little while at least...Do you have any special tips that have worked for your baby to ease their discomfort?

My ds has just cut his bottom too and I thought once they had popped through that would be the end of it but he still seems uncomfortable. He's off his milk also as I think the bottle makes him uncomfortable :-( feels like it has been going on forever! Have you tried Ashton and parsons? Haven't done much for my wee one but I know a lot of people swear by them! The explosive poos have subsided for the most part though :-)

Feel your pain too, DS2 got his first bottom two teeth three months ago and has been teething on and off since then with his top ones and they're STILL not through!! DS1 was a really slow teether too, pain relief here as well and my only tip is those nuby tethers that you put in the freezer, seem to bring a wee bit of relief for a short time. Some of my friends swear by the Ashton's and parsons and amber anklets but never really helped with DS1 (....and I'm not really convinced tbh!)
