As I said not feeling well today, I'm 15 weeks pregnant to so can't really take much. I'm not normally one of those people that stay in with the tv on but today iv just not felt like going out. We have played some bored games, done some drawing and did puzzles but to be honest she's watch telly most the day. I feel so bad.

Oh my god I could have written your post. Dd didn't watch tv till 2 years old because I don't like how transfix she gets but for the last couple of weeks she's watched it loads. I'm so ill I just cant do the stuff I normally do with her. I feel so shit about it.

Get a grip - your child will be fine entertaining themselves every now and again, what do you think will happen when number two comes along? Hope you feel better soon

Is she happy?
Is she safe and warm with food in her tummy?
She's fine. Trust me, a day of TV every now and then is a very small thing.
There will be time enough in the next 15 years to do lots of interesting and exciting activities with both children, but it makes so much sense to rest and potter around if you are feeling a bit rough.
Not every second has to be filled with vibrant and educational activities.
