DS is a shortie. But DH and I swore this morning that he looked taller. So we measured him. He was measured on Weds at the HV, and we confirmed the measurement at home. Today he's measuring at least 1.5cm more. This probably sounds really stupid, but can a baby grow that much overnight/in 3 days??? It's not worrying me or anything, just really curious!

I did read somewhere that they can actually grow huge amounts in one night, yes. I'll see if I can find a link.

Sorry, can't find it, but I did read it somewhere, maybe in a parenting manual. It's amazing, isn't it? Growth hormone is released / produced (can't remember) while they are sleeping, apparently, so they really can wake up a cm taller than when they went to bed.

Oddly he had the best night and days sleep he's ever had yesterday. So perhaps that's why. Maybe he's meant to be 91st centile but his sleeping stops him lol!
