Hiya i'm new to this. Ok so i've had a bit of a problem with my 5 yr old son yesterday and want to ask advice on what to do. i was called into the school by the headmaster after he was caught holding another boy's head down in the swimming pool, the other boy seems fine no long lasting damage. We told him off and explained how dangerous that can be,we asked if anybody had done it to him and he said no(so not sure where he learnt this from) we've removed all privileges for 1 week. he will apologize to the boy today. any other ideas?

What did they do in school?Did they punish him?

I'd be pretty pissed off and would probably react more angrily than you sound.... he is only 5 though. Probably just momentary and part of a game. It is difficult to comment more without knowing the context, and I bet you don't know that yourself really.

To cover my back with the other set of parents, I would probably get him to write a letter of apology instead / as well.
