Anyone know what this means?

My 10 wk old DD has recently started doing this at different points in the day and at different activities: on her play mat, after a feed, in the baby Bjorn (baby carrier).

Any ideas???

My ds is 5mths old and does it when he's tired just assume he's trying to get comfortable, can't remember though when he started it, poss 3mths oldish

My son does this! Only when he is tired though, it is a sign he is trying to get to sleep. He is eleven months old.

My daughter does this, has for ages. Now at 8 months if I shake my head, she grins and shakes hers. Quite cool. It is connected to tiredness although sometimes I wonder if she does it because it's interesting.

Ds is 4 months and does it when very tired and fighting his sleep. Has worn a lovely bald spot on the back of his head and sometimes has little dreadlocks of fluff in his hair in the mornings from rubbing it on his bedsheet. Sometimes he does it in the night too when he's reaching a very shallow sleep stage.
