7 month old, having trouble with sleep

Hi,
My daughter is just over 7 months old now every so often she just completely changes her routine for no apparent reason, recently she has been getting very difficult to get to sleep for her daytime nap and night time, she's had everything she needs food, milk, clean nappy, played with and calmed down its very clear shes tired but as soon as you put her in her cot 'BAM' shes full of beans cooing and talking taking her dummy out etc after a while of this 10/15 mins or more sometimes she then gets upset, crying and screaming, we keep going in to reassure her, we stroke her face and pop her dummy in then walk out again and this can go on for up to half an hour, sometimes she is so upset we have just got her out of her cot. She is at a clingy stage with myself right now and teething which we know could be affecting her sleep but any advice would be welcome.

Oh just add that when she wakes up during the night for a feed she 99.9% of the time goes straight to sleep without any bother.

Not much advice from me sorry. Both if mine hated napping in their cots till they were older, even then it could be hit and miss.

Have you tried teething powder or gel? See if that makes a difference. If she's teething she may be in pain.
