i managed to be calm whilst my 21 mths old DD took a BAD ASS tantrum in her pram

for no reason!!! it started yesterday as she threw herself on the floor and whacking her legs and today she was bashing her head on the frame of pram....

it went on solid for nearly an hour - i keep on asking her whats wrong only to make it worse!!

where is that bottle of wine of mine??? i dont think ive got any

TIME OUT GIRL!!!!

i defo knew that she was tired before she started the tantrums but i had loads to do cos we both been in all week cos of the bad tummy bug.. better today

well done you! Being calm is 99% of the battle - you can't stop tantrums sometimes, they are just going to come...I find the same with my DS, any talking to him asking him anything just makes him worse!

you've got it though - remain calm (at least outwardly!) as tbh there's not much else you can do sometimes!

thanks sparkle - as i just needed to get it out on here before, but much better now DD had 2 hours sleep and i had an hour
