My DS who is in nursery, , I
've noticed in the last week or so started patting me and DH on the nether regions every now and again, if H is taking his jeans off to sit in his boxers , sometimes he'll pat his privates and sometimes he'll run up to me and pat my front.
Some times he'll poke his brother in the privates if he's running around in the nude. if he's say sometimes he's sat pulling at his and and poking (not in public thankgod)
I know he's a bit obsessed with poo's and bums atm, he's a late potty trainer so its all a bit intense atm.
so a) I'm concerned where its come from.
b) concerned if he does it at school there will be more of a focus on that then where its come from, the only other child my son socialises with outside school is his 14 month old brother , so its unlikely to have come from him.(young mum most of my mates are students)
A bit of advice please,

My dd often points out that people have "bits". I think it's just curiosity

Notaddictedtosugar · 13/01/2014 09:42

It does sound like normal curiosity. Possibly he has just noticed that men and women have different bits? I would just tell him to stop if what he is doing is inappropriate, but don't make a big deal of it. I am sure he will soon be onto the next thing.

Hopefully I thought that might be it, I just hope to god he doesn't do it at nursery :O
