Dd started bed wetting help!

I was wondering if anyone had any advice for me. My daughter was just 2 when she decided she didn't want to wear nappies again (during day) and 2yrs 11 months when she didn't want to wear them at night and literally hasn't had an accident since then (she is now 3yrs 3 months). The past week she has had an accident pretty much every day which is so odd for her.. Nothing has changed at all in her routine/stress!

As this is so new I am not sure how to go about dealing with it-obviously goes without saying I am not making a big deal out if it but wondering if I should be concerned?

Have you checked her for pinworms....they could be irritating her or a bladder infection. Also, maybe she is anxious about something going on at school. My dd was toilet trained at 22 months, but would have accidents periodically until she was 6 or 7. They were always related to anxiety (like first week at new nursery/school/class).

Check her for threadworms tonight.

How do you check for thread/pin worms?!

Late at night, she is deeply asleep, take a torch with you into her room. Do not switch the light on. Curl her into a ball on her side, pull her pj bottoms down a bit and shine the torch on her anus. If you see something that looks like fine white threads up to 1cm long around her anus, those are threadworms/pinworms. They are often standing up, but may be lying down on her skin.

Disturb and move her as little as possible when you check, as her movement makes the worms flee back inside.

To treat for worms you can either go to GP for Ovex on prescription, or you can buy it OTC. You need to treat the whole family on the same day, and again two weeks later.

And wash all the sheets in hot water/dryer and bath toys and stuffed animals. The eggs can live for ages...but don't like sunshine, so airing out a room can help too.
