Sleep help needed

Ever since DS was born at Christmas time DS1 sleeping has been a total nightmare. Last night he totally refused his bed and ended up in our bed with my DH top and tailing with me. My DH has been sleeping on the sofa - some nights im in his toddler bed with the baby next to me in his moses. It wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't breastfeeding and recovering from an infection in my csection wound and my DH leaves for work at 5am so after my DH puts him back in his room after the 100th time we just give up. We're just so tired I don't think I have ever been so exhausted in my life. Also hes been waking up all hours demanding drinks and cuddles. The health visitor said to tackle the sleeping when I feel better but I don't think I will get well unless I sleep!! If anyone has any advice I am open all ears and would very much appreciate it. He use to sleep in his bed all night and wake around 9am but now hes fully up and demanding breakfast and cartoons at 6am. Aggghhh please help. I should also say hes really good with the baby and kisses him all the time but its obvious that his behaviour is related to the new arrival.

I feel your pain and can only say hang in there. We just had ds2 and ds1s upset is manifested in aggression but only towards myself. Am just hoping it will pass and my sweet boy will return! Hope things improve for you. Here as a hand and ear but afraid no advice! Congrats on your new arrival!
