2YO pooing in bath

We've tried potty training 2 yo for about 2 months now. Tbh it's been a half hearted attempt. When she's at nursery they take her to the toilet every 30 mins, but with a small baby at home as well, I've not enforced this as much, but we have been encouraging the toilet lots, sticker reward chart etc.

Recently, she's started to poo in the bath - why is this? And what can I do to encourage her to either poo in the toilet or in nappy - I can't keep cleaning the bath out every evening with a wet toddler running amok and a screaming baby.

You have to find the time.

My cousin has let her ds get round to it in his own time he is the fourth child and frankly she cant be arsed. he has taken to shitting on the floor out side so the dog can eat it Shock he is three!

If the nursery are in forcing it which is great as some will just say pull ups, you have to find the time.

regarding poohing in bath, just wait till dc are down before u clean it out....

Mine often pooed in the bath at this age. The warm water helps them relax. Try sitting her on the toilet while you run the bath, and if its a long bath time, again half way through. Its just a phase, mine is now 4 and still gets the urge during bath time but now asks if she can get out and go on the toilet for a minute. We are a one toilet household and used the potty for a long time to help with going to the toilet every 5 mins. In fact i distictly remember that peppa Pig only went on if there was a bottom on the potty Wink

My DD did this for a couple of weeks at that age.
Try her on potty first to see if that helps.
I thought DD was almost ready to potty train a couple of times and gave it a half-hearted attempt without success. It's only now with a concerted effort that it's all coming together.

She goes on the toilet for about 10 mins before bath while it's running but never does anything.

Re toilet training shall I ditch nappies and pull ups at home and take her every 30 mins to the toilet? If she's wearing pull ups she will use them like nappies.
