Sleeping baby

Ok so I realise I run the risk of those mums who are experiencing sleeplessness from their babies getting annoyed with this post, but I would be grateful for your thoughts.

My 8 week old DD for the last few days has been sleeping a lot!!! She is not showing any signs whatsoever of being unwell, she is feeding well, her nappies are normal and she's giving me plenty of smiles when she is awake.

The only difference the past few days is that we have tweaked he routine we were doing.

Prior to a few days ago we were doing 7 feeds a day, 2 of which were a split feed of 90ml each, the first feed of the day and the last feed in the evening were the larger ones at 150ml and the remainder at 120ml.

Now we are giving 5 feeds a day, the first and last being at 6oz (180ml) and the rest at 5oz (150ml).

So her daily intake is more.

Is it that simple that this is why she's sleeping more?

Who knows. Just enjoy. It could all change soon enough. I had a sleeping baby for a whole too!
