19mo hair growth

My dd1 was born with lots of hair, went slightly bold, then it just grew lots into curls then she's now got lovely long hair down to her bottom almost at just 3yo.

Dd2 however was born with lots of hair, not as much but hers was lighter and still is very light blonde compared to dd1. But only has a head full IYSWIM, not past her ears, just fine blonde hair. She's now 19m.

Sounds bizarre but with dd1 we didn't use any special hair are for the cradle cap, but with dd2 we washed her hair lots wth it and it's as if it's slowed her hair growth.

The only other thing is that she takes after dp more as he was blonde and hair took longer to grow?

Is it anything to worry about that the growth rate is a lot slower than dd1 or is it just genes?

I don't think this is due to anything you have done, just genes. Smile

All kids are different.

My dd got her first tooth at 9 months and had no hair until she was 3. She is now 6 and it finally grew passed her shoulders at about 5.5..... She won't let anyone cut it!

My ds got his first tooth at 16 months (!!) and had hair by 12 months.....needs a trim every 6 weeks.

Thanks
