we have gone cold turkey just before christmas and left our ds7 and dd4 out of pull ups at night . so far they have not got up by themselves and ds seems to be wetter than dd how long do we leave it until they recognise to get up or do you lovely people think we need help from our gp. i know a lot of people may think we have left it late but please help

I didn't want you to go unanswered but I'm no expert. I think you should see your GP or HV just so you know you are doing it the right way and there is no underlying cause. Then again, could be completely normal. Dont worry but have support if you can!

I agree GP...but having said that, if they are used to wearing pull ups for this long, it may just take time...I would try getting them up and taking them to the loo in the night. I do my 5 year old at about 10.30pm...she stays asleep and I just walk her to the toilet. Also....no drinks for an hour before bed!
