7 month old sick after most feeds

My 7 month old baby girl was diagnosed with cows milk protein allergy at 8 weeks. She had really bad constipation and silent reflux. Her reflux disappeared instantly when we switched her onto Nutramigen formula and her constipation softened a little.
About 8 weeks ago she started projectile vomiting with awful constipation. She was diagnosed with a chest infection and ear infection in both ears and was prescribed antibiotics. Then she apparently had a tummy bug which made her sick and put her off her bottles. Then she had a virus which gave her a temp with continued vomiting.

Anyway, she won't eat solids at all, she drinks her milk but brings at least one bottle back a day and she is very constipated, screams when she has a poo and it is coated in blood.

Doc just keep prescribing laxatives which go in milk - all very well if you can get a child to drink her milk or, if she does, keep it down.

Weight wise they're not particularly worried. She has put on 3oz in 5 weeks and is only just falling below the 50th centile.

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this? I'm not too worried about her not wanting solids, it's more the constipation and vomiting that is concerning me. Today she's kept down about 5 oz milk all day ( I am a pro at catching the sick in a bowl then I measure it in a jug). She is quite happy in herself, sleepier than usual but happy when awake.

Poor you, and DD, I know how stressful it can be to go through things like this as a mother.

I'm sure it's very unlikely to be this but just in case couldn't help thinking of Pyloric Stenosis, although she's maybe a little old for it. Whatever, I think you need more support medically. Sending hugs.

Hmm... I suspected that when DD was a baby but it was ruled out as she stopped reflux in when milk changed.
They have mentioned Hirschsprung's disease but that is usually picked up at birth.
We have another appointment on 7th Jan after 2 more weeks of laxatives. I really hope those 2 weeks go quickly

Fingers crossed for you, hoping it's one of those phases that she just grows out of!

My LG had this, I used to feed her with a bowl next to me for her to be sick in. She never lost weight which meant the HV wasn't concerned.
She didn't wean until 11 months and at the age of 5 can now tolerate milk!!
I remember my father in law being shocked at how 'regimented' her sick was and telling me she needs to go to a&e it was that bad.
It will get better.. promise
