2yo started waking at 6am

My 2yo used to sleep until 7-7.30am and has suddenly started waking an hour earlier. I have a 3m old baby too so I'd really like to move this back again.

Any tips?

Nope though I wish I had I think you've just been very lucky so far.

There is a method called wake to sleep but I'm not sure I'd risk it for a 6am wake up.

Sorry, that's normal time in our house. Is s/he still having an afternoon nap - might be time to drop it...

Try a groclock. But 6am isn't too bad...

6am is bad if you're used to 7-7:30! Same thing happening here with our two year old. I'm trying to tweak his naps to see if that helps but it's still a work in progress.

Trying to deny the possibility that this may be a permanent change!

Our 2yr old &3mths has dropped her nap this last month and waking earlier and earlier. ..we gave a gro clock now we we are slowly enforcing but it has meant us getting up /down multiple times between 4.45am-6.30am. This worked for our eldest who still wakes pre6am but will now read in bed quietly and has a glass of water turns her own light on etc but does not disturb us :-) she is 6. Its building to a full moon which always affects both my girls with higher energy and less sleep requirements!!

6am would be an hour's lie-in here - you've been lucky! We've never found that making them drop naps before they're ready has any effect on wakeup time, just makes them miserable.
