17 months old twins speech

My 17 month old twins have hardly any speech, they can each only say a couple of simple words! My older child was speaking much more by now. We constantly talk to them and read but nothing seems to be helping. Should I be worried at this lack of speech?

My friends twins are 2 and a half and they have only recently started speaking. Don't worry!

Thanks, they do babble alot so hopefully that's promising! It's so much harder with twins to have the quality time with them
