Why is my 10 month old waking every half hour

I really need some help and advice. My dd is nearly ten months and she has just started to wake every half and hour. I'm absolutely exhausted and I'm finding things very difficult at the moment. I'm bf still but I have given her formula to see if that would help. Nothing I do other than feed her back to sleep will settle her. I trie to leave her to CIO in a desperate attempt to see if she would go back to sleep, it worked with my first dd. dd2 screamed and screamed and screamed.
Does any body have any tips? I really don't feel I have the energy for this. Dd1 is 2.3 yrs and I'm getting very snappy with her as I'm shattered which isn't fair at all. Any advice would be a god send.

Could it be the 9 month sleep regression?

Im sorry i dont have much advice but just to say i have been looking through this board for advice on the exact same problem.

My DS has just turned 10 months old and whilst he had always been a nightmare to get to sleep, he usually only wakes for feeds once he is asleep. He has started waking every hour and screaming, and nothing i can do apart from bf him settles him. I too am exhausted.

I have just bought the book "No Cry Sleep Solution" to see if i can address the sleep problems. At a guess though i wondered whether it might be a mix of separation anxiety, and because of major developmental milestones occuring as my ds has just taken his first steps. Feel free to pm me as i am all too aware of how draining and frustrating this is
