Advice for getting DD to sleep.

DD is 13 months. We've always co-slept, and I don't want to change that. However, it seems she cannot self-settle. She needs me to feed her to sleep, and when she goes down, she'll need resettling a few times before I'm ready for bed. Sometimes I have to being her into the lounge and have her on my lap. If I'm honest, I'm sick to the back teeth of it now. I work in quite a intense job and I'm finishing a doctorate - I need some time in the evenings to work. I currently get home, cook then DD has a bath, then I try and get her to sleep, then I spend half the evening getting her back to sleep. I'm finally jealous of everyone who's baby goes down 7-7 Hmm

Any suggestions that don't involve any form of CC or CIO?

People on here recommend The No-Cry Sleep Solution a lot - I've not read it myself but I like her website and anticipate that when I stop co-sleeping with DS2 I'll need it.
