Hi all,

Had my dd 6 week check up & the dr was concerned about her neck, head control and was marked as an o. We do tummy time every day and shr raises her head and when we cuddle her next to our chest she lifts her head.

Also I've notcd that she moves her right leg more than her left. I've googled this nd wish I'd not...

Should I be worried?

I don't really do much tummy time .. It sounds like you are doing a great job

Hi. Both my boys failed their head control at their six week checks, it just took a bit longer to get their necks stronger. I used one of these v shaped cushions to lie them on just under their chest so they could practice looking around. Don't worry, it's really common to have to go back for another check and she might have just been a bit tired.

We also failed head control. ..twice...third time the doctor signed us of with flying colours. my view was that my son just doesn't like to "perform" and in fact was having a screaming fit so was unlikely to do something he didn't want. whatever the outcome I decided I would rather the doctor be thorough than miss something. Try not to worry and enjoy playing with your little one.

Pj67 we lay her on the floor without anything under her, I'll try a rolled up blanket under her chest and see how hat helps.

Eclondon, that must have been a worry to start with?

My dh and I lov playing with our dd and she loves it when we play with her, especially when we use the mirror in front of her so she can stare at her reflection.
