Right, i need double buggy recommendations!!!

My dd will be just 2 when her little brother is due to be born and having only started walking at 17 month and cant really walk long distances. And with me not driving long distances are a must.

I've thought of all the options and am now resigned to the fact i need a double buggy, so which ones are best? We are on a tight budget but could stretch to a more expensive one if they have a lot more benefits!

Hi I had a 17 month age gap with a child who didn't start walking until 16 months! We had a "Double Nipper" made by Out n' About which was a three wheeler and very light and easy to maneouvre, both children looked very comfortable in it. Mine are now 4 and 2.5 so it has been redundant for a few months and I am looking to sell it if you are interested. Let me know and I can give you more details.

Another friend had the Phil and Ted one behind the other one which she was also happy with.

Hi, I had a 16 month old when my second came along, I purchased the Mama's and Papa's Aria.

I DON'T recommend it at all! It was very difficult to steer as the wheels didn't rotate very well!

Just a tip, go for the thinnest buggy you can get as some shops, railway stations and even lifts don't allow for the width of a double buggy.

There's a 22 months gap between dd and ds. I bought a mothercare duolite which is suitable from birth. it's is quite ligtweight and very easy to fold. and it was among the cheapest I saw (my favourite was mamas and papas aria, but too expensive). I'm still using the twin buggy at times, the kids are now 4 and 2. all the best!

our Urban Detour (mothercare) is 2nd hand but still great. I didn't want to get one at all... hoped to use sling for baby and single buggy fpr toddler - but this 3 wheeler has converted me.

We bought a second hand Jane Powertwin, its the best push chair i have used, i would never buy a new one as they cost £450 ish, we bought ours for £140. I never thought i would like a tandem but the Jane is the Bee's Knee's.
