My little boy starting having teeth coming through at about 9 weeks. He's 12 weeks now and he's got about 4 buds on his gums where his teeth are almost coming through, but I thought it was later they got teeth?

I know some can be born with teeth but isn't that unusual?

Welcome to the early teething club. Full set at 17 months here!

ilovepowerhoop · 03/12/2013 09:59

it is fairly young for teeth as the average age to start getting them is around 6 months. At the other end of the scale my niece never got teeth until she was about 14 months old

My DS got his first teo teeth at 4.5mo which I think is on the early side, but every child is different.

At least now your LO is 3 months old you can give baby nurofen!!

Dd had 4 by 4 months and full set just after first birthday.
DS is 7months and has nothing but seems to have been teething for months, I can't wait till they actually break and he stops looking like a blusher brush attacked him!

We had no teeth until 10 months and now at (just) 14 months twin 1 has 10 teeth and twin 2 has 9 teeth! We have had a house full of grumpy babies in the last 3 months!

2 at about 5 months I think. 7 now, she's 9mo. Hoping they all come through nice and early and we can kiss goodbye to bad sleep, bad nappies and bad tempers!
