Winter games and activities with babies

Now the weather's getting colder and trips to the park aren't as much fun wondering what I can do with my 7 month old dd. Bit bored of sitting in various cafes with other mums and babies. We've recently started swimming but any other ideas to stop us going stir crazy would be welcome. Thanks in advance Smile

Have playdates with mums and babies at each others houses?

Go to the library, any free museums near you?

Ikea on week days is fun, ds loved crawling/cruising around the furniture, they give you free baby food and there are lots of lamps to point out ( ds is a little obsessed by lamps!)

We go to different baby singing/music classes which are really just a chance for ds to play.

Pop baby in a sling and go for long walks. Baby keeps you warm, you keep baby warm, baby gets stimulation from environment by looking around but can go to sleep when tired, you get exercise. It's win win win.

Is there soft play you can go to?

Love the IKEA idea! Shame my nearest one is an hour away.

Some fab ideas. Dd isn't crawling or cruising yet but will certainly check out ikea once she is. Planning a winter walk on Thursday and will do some research on museums. Thanks all Grin
