3 month old suddenly colicky in the evening

My 3 month old ds has been v colicky in the evening the last few evenings. He hasn't really been as bad a this before now. Nothing has really changed, he is ff (changed to f around 9 weeks due to various reasons i won't go into now and the transition was pretty smooth for him), he has pooped so not constipated. He is v agitated, sicking up small amounts, arching back, crying etc. Is there a developmental change around now? What could have caused this? the night before last he was distressed for 5 hours before going to sleep. I have restarted using Infacol after he seemed ok without it for a few weeks. Any tips to make him feel better gratefully received...

I'm sorry to say I haven't got any tips for you but I can sympathise. When I read your post I could have written it word for word with what we are going through with our ds. He is 3 months old tomorrow and the last 3 nights we've had the same as you. It is a matter of trial and error to find the right hold to comfort him each time, be it over the shoulder, 'tiger in the tree' or cradled.
Please do keep me updated if you find any answers and I will surely do the same.

Around a similar age my dd was the same every evening around 6.30 onwards for what seemed like hours. Even the neighbours could here how upset she was we were beside ourselves! but i can honestly say that as soon as started using Dr Brown bottles along side infacol it completely changed. What bottles are you using?

We are using Dr Brown's and Infacol too. I stopped the dream feed last night... it helped...maybe it is something to do with evening digestion? I never had this with dd, she was colicky from the start so him suddenly being like this from 13 weeks is odd...
