Referred to hospital for poor weight gain and appointment is tomorrow, just wondering what they will do at appointment?

talk to you about feeding and any symptoms you might have noticed, possibly blood tests to rule things out. How old?

DD is just 4 months. The GP thinks it may be an intolerance but unsure how they would test this. She has had a poo sample sent. I was wondering if they will take blood ??

I would probably expect them to take blood if they feel they are underweight as opposed to just petite.
how are they fed? what's the weight been doing? And are you and the dad big/little?

they can check for infections and I think lactose intolerance from a poo sample but IIRC it needs to be very freshWink

DD is 4 months and weighs 11.13lb she was BF but was fussy, crying an not gaining so had to stop. She is now fully FF. We are average size DP 6ft and I'm around 5.4ft. Just hoping for a plan today.
