Mine are 10 and they are driving me potty. I don't know whether it's hormones or what but they are fighting constantly, they can't be left in a room together for 5 mins before world war 3 breaks out and when they decide that some insanely annoying behaviour is funny, nothing I do or say seems to make a difference. It's like the force of them together adds up to more than I can stop. Let me be clear - these are "good boys", bright boys, nice family 'n all that. And I am a strong confident woman. I just feel sometimes as though I am a puff on the breeze for all the notice they take of me and it makes me feel ill.

Whenever WW3 breaks out in our house I put them out to pasture, even if it's raining. They're old enough to go for a bike ride, or down to a local shop to buy milk for you. Get them busy. Good luck. In about 1 year they will be deathly silent, and communicate only in grunts and sighs. Six months later you'll wonder where they are as they rarely tunnel out of their duvet and screen caves.
