4yo DD finger sucking

My dd has sucked the 2 middle fingers of her left hand since she was a baby. She has sores and hard lumps on both fingers, and she kind of bites on them at the same time so they have deep indents from her teeth.
She does it to fall asleep, also when she's tired or upset, or sometimes just out of habit.
Any ideas on how I can get her to stop?

No experience sorry but just thought I'd bump for you.

Have you tried painting her nails with Stop and Grow to make them taste horrible?

Have tried stop and grow but made no difference Hmm

My 3yo DS does this and I have no idea how to stop either so I'm watching with interest!

My dd bit her wrist like this. Just as the HV started to get worried about it getting sore, she sort of grew out of it. She was probably around four. Not much help I realise, but she's not the only one and she'll probably grow out of it too.

My 7yo DD sucks her thumb sand stop and grow worked for a while but now it doesn't bother her. Her teeth are now protruding and her orthodontist has suggested a sock tied over her hand at night!
