wierd or normal?

10 month old DS has real difficulty letting me go (especially at night) for about the last week (he won't go to sleep if I'm in the room, and just wants to play, but will settle with DH). and has developed a habit of scratching the back of his head behind his ears when tired/a bit uncertain.
also seems to have a permanent little erection and has just discovered the joy of playing with his bits.
any shared experiences out there?

spadeisaspade, you're describing my ds he was dreadful to get down in the evening/night as he considered seing mama as playtime and he'd only settle with dh. Also did the head scratching thing. Still does and loves worrying my hair when he's on my lap or drinking a bottle of milk.

He's 2 in September and better at night but still loves to play with my hair.

Not much help here I know, but you're not alone, your ds isn't weird (or if he is then so is mine and it will pass
