where can I buy non toxic playmat foam squares?

we have wooden floors and my 1yr old bumps himself al the time. I want to buy some foam interlocking squares but there is a lot on the web about them being toxic?

We have some from john Lewis. Also seen them in tesco. I'm sure neither of these company's would be aloud to Or would sell anything that can cause harm to a child.
