i have a 4.5 years son that is scared even to go to the toilette on his own, he all the time need someone in the door with him, i just have one bedroom flat, the house is not that big, but he need company where ever he goes, toilet, bedroom, kitchen. sometime he may even ask his 2years brother to go with him if he want to get something from the bedroom.
i leave with my husband and 2 children. they still sleep next to me as we don't have space, my husband sleep in the sitting room.
does anyone have the same problem?

Is he scared? When we moved after about 5 months my daughter wouldnt go around the house alone I gave her a spray bottle of water n glitter n told her to spray it when she went upstairs or where ever n after a few days she was fine and gradually she stopped taking the bottle with her too

My 2 are also a bit like that, they are 6 and 8! They won't go upstairs without the other one. No idea why!

Normal.
Mine does the same. Thing is that in the dark the shapes of things look different. A coat hanging on a door seems like a monster and a newspaper on the floor is a crocodile
