Hi everyone I've just joined mumsnet and hoping I'm going about this the right way. My little 13 week old has been upset a lot of the day from the beginning with Colic and what we suspect is acid reflux also. I have been trying to find mothers groups in London who also have colicky refluxy upset babies who meet up but can't find any. I have a great mums network that meets up regularly but no one else has upset fussy babies but me so would love to know if anyone knows about any support? Thanks so much :)

What do you mean by fussy? A baby with colic and reflux isn't being fussy, they are in pain!

Could your health visitor let you know whether there is a support group?

Don't go in calling the babies fussy though, that won't go down well. Hope your baby grows out of it soon, it is hard watching them suffer. Make sure you are getting medical help too.

Hello OP - I'm reading your post and thinking that by 'fussy' you mean difficult to settle after feeds and takes time to get properly off to sleep?

I would speak to your HV or GP asap, do you think it might possibly be a milk allergy? I know from experience just how exhausting it can be and how 'everyone else' seems to have a perfect, smiley, text book type of baby.

Welcome to Mn AMAC Thanks. Really sorry but I don't know of any such groups in London. How are you feeding? If you are feeding have you tried a bfing support group?

My DS was very unsettled and with him it turned out to be tongue tie, have you had this checked?

My friend later had a fussy baby and swore by this book. There is a lot of good information on the dr sears website tooSmile
