It feels like whatever I ask DD (4) to do she has to turn it into a tantrum and answer in a moan and a whine and just carry on and on and on with the pulling my clothes and shouting in a moaning voice about it. So far this past hour she has created a scene over finding her slippers, going upstairs, coming downstairs, coming to the table for dinner, eating dinner and so it goes on. I'm really tired tonight and just couldn't deal with it and really shouted at her. Now feel bad. It just feels like im walking on eggshells and anything I ask her is going to met with a tantrum. I know in reality it probably isn't like that but it feels like right now Sad

Tell her when she is ready to talk nicely you will talk to her and turn your back on her

I have and she just stands behind me pulling my jumper and crying/shouting at me over and over again. She can keep this up for 20 mins or so, basically until I can't take it anymore.

You have to keep going. Don't give in.

20 mins isn't that long really. Or try bribery

Also try to pick battles. If she doesn't get her slippers does it matter ? If she doesn't cone to the table then she doesn't get her tea (just give her sone crackers or something before bed )

This is normal 4 year old behaviour (I have a 4 year old and her older sister was like it when she was 4 but not anymore!) You just have to ride it out, sorry - but it does get better ime.
