0 to 200mph! busy 1 year old!

my little ds never stops! he never sits on my knee, he goes from bonkers to sleep in a second! i guess this common? if so how do u entertain them!

You need to create a space where he can play independently and safely. We have a babyden playpen which we use as a room divider to section off a bit of the front room. DD has all her toys in there, plenty of room to crawl about/pull herself up. I can see her from the kitchen and can get on with jobs without her trying to crawl up my legs.
