he wont hug me or kiss me. doesn't want to play with me. Won't do anything with me. when I ask him if he wants to do something eg go to the park, do painting, make some cakes etc he just refuses. if I carry on anyway he just screams and paddys! hes about 2 and a half. not that long ago he loved me and wouldn't do anything without me ): he only likes me when hes tired or wants something. is this normal? x

its horrible, I feel so unloved! lol

Yesterday my youngest (7) told me she hated me and that I was mean and evil. So, it gets worse when they can verbalise their hatred better :o

It's normal in my experience. All of my boys have switched back and forth between only wanting Daddy and only wanting Mummy. The older two have grown out of it now (they're 19 and 15, LOL) but my 6yo can still favour one over the other. At the moment he's fairly easy going but likes it to be me who tucks him in at bedtime (we take turns) but at 2 he would often refuse to do anything with one of us preferring the other to do everything.

Oh no soupdragon I dread this! If my 16 mth old could talk I think she would be saying those things to me too sometimes! Its like unreciprocated love. I tell her I love her and she snarls back at me "well i hate you!" Glad to see its normal and nothing personal LOL!
